Our Team
Rachael - Senior Occupational Therapist and Director

Rachael is a senior occupational therapist who has extensive experience working with a variety of people in community-based roles since she graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2012. She is passionate about providing a high standard of care and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Rachael has extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and adults. She has experience working in areas such as hospital discharge support, rehabilitation, complex home modifications, assistive technology, palliative care, wheelchair scripting, and of course paediatrics. Rachael has professional and lived experience working with the neurodiverse population. Her passion to support neurodiverse children and teens in school environments comes from her own personal experiences. She loves exploring creative ways to help her clients thrive in different environments.
In 2022 Rachael started as a sole trader, her aim is to provide a more personalised style of therapy. Her unique therapy approach has seen Function Focused Therapy grow and evolve. Rachael and her team are passionate about working with people of various ages to improve their quality of life. She enjoys working with children and families using a play-based approach to achieve therapy goals. She works in partnership with parents to help support children to build capacity across all areas of daily living.
Being a mum of 3 children has allowed Rachael's therapy style to take on a more realistic edge. She understands that families have different routines and adjusts recommendations for therapy accordingly.
Rachael provides occupational therapy services for children aged between 2-18 years. She also provides supervision services to other therapists.
